Your Tongue and Your Good thang

We hear these verses all the time and most Christians are familiar with them, but most Christians don’t know where they are in the Bible. Many can correctly guess that these verses are in Proverbs, but where?

The “Death and life” verse is Proverbs 18:21. The “He who finds a wife” verse is Proverbs 18:22. These verses are one after the other in the Bible! Think about that for a minute. When we think of Proverbs it’s easy to think of random unconnected verses of wisdom. But do you think these verses are randomly beside each other in the Bible or do you think there is a deeper divine connection?

Here’s a nugget for you. You married a good thing! Whether that good thing remains a good thing will largely depend on whether you are using your tongue to speak life or whether you are using it to speak death into your marriage.
