During difficult times we often turn to the book of Psalms. But there are passages that are not always relevant to healing and comfort. This book, while not intended to replace the Psalms, extracts passages that are calming, soothing, and peaceful that you can read, starting on any page. It omits  passages that speak of revenge, enemies, death, hell, the wicked, and other things that don't invoke the peace and assurance that is needed in difficult times.
